Last Monday, some friends had a mini potluck dinner at their place to celebrate Lunar New Year. D and B cooked the most delicious Thai red curry that I've had in a LONG time. I forgot how much I love red curry until I ate this meal. The curry was full of great veggies, including squash! Who would've thunk that squash would taste so amazing in Thai curry?! Ab provided some tasty brown rice porridge with veggies, and K whipped up some delicious herbed mushrooms on the spot. I didn't cook anything, but brought some Turkish delight and Korean snacks for dessert, and YS provided a basketful of clementines. It was an amazing meal, shared with great company (the majority of whom are veg*an). Fun times all around!
